ABOUT TANGENT PHOTOS



Tangent Photos, based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a collection of photos that I've taken over the past quarter of a century, and the mental wanderings that accompany them. My philosophy is this: It's my website, so I get to do whatever I want with it, but I think you will find at least a few things in its pages you can identify with. If you're wondering what software I used to build this site so that you don't purchase it by accident, the entire site is coded from text, by me. All photos are mine unless otherwise noted, and may not be used without permission from yours truly.

These photos are a mix of digital & 35mm. Most of them are posted "as is" with only relevant cropping, and are taken in the upper Midwest Great Lakes region. Many of them can be found in the archives of NASA's SpaceWeather and Earth Science Picture Of The Day. There are also some in the galleries of The National Weather Service, Atmospheric Optics, SkyChasers, and a photo journal project for a local Habitat For Humanity Build.
